How Being A “Time Traveler” Can Help You Stop Procrastinating

Procrastinating is a major thief in most people’s life. It gives you the illusion that you have tomorrow to get the task done, but I have news for you, there is no tomorrow. The only thing that exists is the now. The past and the future do not matter, because you are either not in it anymore or the projected future in your head may not manifest the way you want it to.

As a person or a martial artist, when you have the time to practice something, seize that time and use it. The more you delay the activity for another day, the more you deceive yourself that you can do it later. We all know life is not promised and anything can happen at any time, so we should act accordingly and not pay attention to the past. We are supposed to learn from it and move on. Your past does not represent who you are unless you have not grown. If you have transformed from your previous life, you have regrets over the things you have done in the past. If you have no regrets, you have not grown. 

A person who has their eyes on the future is a great thing, it keeps them focused and ambitious. Most get lost and visualize their future, but do not want to do the work to get there. You must be a “time traveler” mentally and go to the future you want to create and come back to the present (then do the work of course to manifest your vision). Other times you may go back in time mentally to your past and the lessons you have learned, you bring it into your current state, to make sure you do not make the same mistakes again.
