Catching your adversary before they attack you, can be the difference between winning or losing, and life or death in some situations. There can be a number of signs that a person is about to attack. The likely hood of them attacking is higher if you see all of these signals.
The first sign a person is about to attack is when they put away what they have in their hands. It can be either their cell phone or keys. They are freeing up their hands to attack you.
Second, their eyes are looking around to see if people are paying attention to what is going on. When this happens, be aware something is about to happen soon. Or they may look away to feign disinterest, then they will throw a quick hook.
Third, they start adjusting their clothes and lowering their chin. This is to make sure there are no restrictions when they move and lowering their chin is to avoid being knocked out.
Fourth, their dominant side is forward. Of course, you will not know their dominant side, so any side that is leading is an indicator that they are about to strike.
Fifth, they are hiding their hands behind their back or by their side to look harmless. When their true intent is to disarm you by catching you off guard and striking like a coiled snake. In either case, your opponent may also be hiding a weapon as well.
Use your judgment, if your adversary is doing 3 out of 5 of these, or more, his chances of attacking are higher.
