Eggs nourish the muscles with amino acids and vitamin b. It also supports the nervous system.
Whey Protein builds and repairs your muscles after an arduous workout.
Bananas are a great source of potassium. This helps people who suffer from cramps after workouts or onset delayed muscle soreness.
Peanut Butter is another great source of energy. Two tablespoons of this gives your body the protein it needs after breaking a sweat while working out. It is good for the heart, but you want to take it in moderation, because it has a lot of sugar in it.
